My two Furbys talk. It doesn't matter if one goes to sleep. You can still talk to your mom even if she goes to sleep. It doesn't mean you are asleep and can't talk. Only the sleeping one can't talk when asleep. The more interaction you give them, the more they will learn over time. If they are just facing each other in a light room after being turned over and playing they will talk for a while and eventually both go to sleep. Mine wake up and start talking again. It takes time for them to grow and learn. Be patient and you will build a friendship. But like people it takes time and attention. Friendship gets lost if they don't get enough attention. Furbys are not for the negligent parent. Happy Furbys make boys and girls a good friend. Oh and if you don't believe in them they won't believe in you!!!
