Fenton Art Glass Message Board Posted by Leo Legare on May 11, 2007 at 23:21:17: -- 30 Year Collection of Fenton Glass to be sold June 2 in Nashua -- On Saturday, June 2, Legare Auctions will sell the Fenton Glass collection of Joe Dupont. Mr. Dupont, a well-known collector, amassed an amazing compilation of Fenton Glass over a 30-year period. The collection will be sold in two parts, with the first 350 lots featured in the upcoming Nashua auction. There are a wide variety of forms and colors in the sale such as Victorian pickle casters including a Victorian Vaseline in the daisy and button pattern, a vibrant cranberry opalescent spot and a delicate lavender opalescent fern in a new frame. Among the many desirable forms are fairy lamps, baskets and hats including a colorful Burmese fairy lamp signed Diane Johnson and a striking topaz opalescent daisy and fern hat with a blue ridge.
