Hi, I am the repair person for our Dept 56 club here in WNY and the glue I use is Grip Loc(cyanoacylate). It is used by bowling ball repair people and also for trophy repair. It dries very quickly and you use very little. No discoloration and can hardly notice the repair. Good luck.
