I am not familier with David making a cottage and calling it 'The Winery' However another artist who worked with John occasionally has a cottage of that name.
The sculptor's name is Maurice Wideman and he is an Englishman who lived and worked in Canada.

The base label should read, 'Maurice Wideman, The American Collection' surrounded by the American Flag then the product number AC-023 The Winery, and finally
Hand made in Canada.

If you look at the rear of the piece, beneath the turrent,on the right hand side, you should be able to see '89' (Year of sculpture being made) and then Maurice Wideman's name.

Apart from John Hine Studios I was the only UK Retailer who stocked Moe's collection and I personally own every piece plus many variations that Moe kindly gave to me on varying occasions.
