Was it ok for dealers to restrict knowledge, abuse limited market places and inflate prices. ebay's privacy policy is not that private in the US as ebay members first and last letters remain the same regardless of the item bid upon. It's easy to work out who is who. How much is anything worth? As much as someone is willing to pay at the time of offer for sale. Sellers seek what they are happy to receive and buyers wait till the dying seconds before bidding. No one, other than the seller, has the right to say any item must be sold for xyz. Sellers want as many potential buyers to see their product. ebay allows the whole world the opportunity of seeing and buying the product. Unless they trade on ebay or have set up an Ishop, a dealers market place is considerably restricted. Just remember there are two parties to a sale. The buyer's interest is just as important as the seller ebay has provided considerable knowledge to sellers and buyers alike. I have seen many sales that have provided valuable information. If you and Ann are so concerned about sellers not knowing enough about their DWC why don't either of you publish details on this site indicating suggested selling prices. What happened to the book Ann said she intended to publish?
