Fascinating rhetorical response, I have given much consideration to the need of response and as to how to address the comments you have made, some of which are quite frankly insulting. Firstly I do not rant, merely express an opinion. I have looked at the other posting on the Board by you and one trend seems to become clear, is that your view and opinion is the only one and you obviously feel that your domain, i.e. the David Winter Notice Board is threatened, if any one has the temerity to express an opinion, which does not concur with yours, but please see my thoughts below, which in my opinion may be more appropriate to you rather than me!

The remark about my subsidiary email address(which you quote incorrectly) on David Winter Board has been used before by HAPPY DAYS. Your comment of paranoid, is outrageous-the dictionary definition is- exhibiting fear of persecution- why should I be described as such, who gives you the right to criticise my mental state(part of another definition of paranoia!), are you a Doctor? You have no qualifications to make such comment!

I am merely expressing my right of freedom of speech and opinion, which I am perfectly entitled to do so under English Law, perhaps it is different in other parts of the UK.

Ann( If I have stirred up bad memories from the distant past, you have my sincere apology, but I did not think the response remarks made were appropriate for this sort of board) is perfectly entitled to express her opinion, just as much as you or I, but please be very cautious in your choice of words and expression, I do hope you are familiar with the Libel Law and legislation relating to Defamation of Character, as in my humble opinion some of your remarks are stepping very close! You now have the option of withdrawing your remarks, by posting a full and unreserved apology immediately.

As to whether E bay is the fairest place to trade that is open to conjecture. Sellers list items, many not having a clue what they are selling, other listing appear deliberately vague, this can as we have both experienced provide some real bargains, which is the name of the game. But you should not begrudge a genuine Collector or any one else wishing to sell pieces for the best money, experience in numerous fields tell me that E Bay is not always the best but nevertheless a very useful tool. But in conclusion two or more people will decide what they think is a fair price, whether it is a true reflection of the market place I don't know, but at that moment in time it will be. We will have both seen items, which should have made more money, but other slipping through virtually unnoticed and for a few pence, but this is no different to traditional auctions, but by using E-bay buyers and seller are testing the market place. I am neither criticising or supporting your views on E-bay, merely exercising my right of opinion. With the new privacy E bay bidding, it is now in my opinion rife with shill bidding or indeed bidders inflating sales of rarer pieces to maintain the value of their own collections.
