: In reply to your questions  - the same cottages you see advertised over and over were mass produced in the early John Hine days and now that cottages are not flavour of the month, collectors are selling off their collections.  The cottages produced by Enesco ie The Pubs and Taverns of England were not produced in huge numbers because there were not huge numbers of collectors buying cottages and this pattern has continued over the past ten years or so.  Flooding the market has not helped the cottages retain their values and a certain sellers' website has not helped the sellers or the buyers - it has just cheapened what was once a very fine and highly sought after collectable.
