I'm remembering that when we bought ours, the artist was there as well. I just don't remember exactly who it was. Thought it was John Hine or David Winter AND they could have been there with the actual artist. However, the way the info sticker is done on the bottom and the fact that I can't find it anywhere among David Winter things (or John Hine), I'll assume that one of the other artisans did this particular piece. Glad you got one. It's beautiful, isn't it?
