Royal Crown Derby’s latest release is a thrush inspired by one of William Morris’s most famous patterns The Strawberry Thief. The pattern itself takes as its subject the thrushes that Morris found stealing fruit in his kitchen garden of his countryside home, Kelmscott Manor, in Oxfordshire.  The Royal Crown Derby Strawberry Thief Thrush is designed by Jane James and modelled by June Branscombe, It measures 12cm high.

Inspired by the popular Strawberry Thief pattern designed by the iconic designer, William Morris, Royal Crown Derby has created, the Strawberry Thief Thrush. With significant origins in the heritage of the historical period, the thrush is decorated in a combination of muted blue tones with a flurry of green and damson florals edged in 22 carat gold. Height: 12cm
