: Hello carnival glass collectors: I have a 9" ruffled edge Northwood Grape and Cable Bowl, it appears to be Red base glass, did they have red base glass for this pattern bowl? It also shows a crack across part of the bottom, the only way to see this crack is to hold it up to a strong light source, you cannot feel it on the inside or on the outside, would you say it was like that when it was made? Is this type crack common? Other than that no chips anywhere and gorgeous colors.
