I have an absolutely beautiful carnival glass peacock hat pin, unfortunately, the pin was broken at the insertion point during shipment about three years. I was told by the previous owner that this particular hat pin was made circa 1900, she purchased it from an elderly woman in Greenville, SC who owned a millinery store. I am preparing for retirement and would like to sell this hatpin and would like to kown if anyone could assist me in determining the value of this piece (I did not attempt to repair the breakage). It is still a beautiful piece and would display wonderfully in a collection.
