Hi Cindi

I have just written a book about collecting Walking Ware and there is lots of information about backstamps and identification. The walking ware website tells you all about the book on http://www.walkingware.co.uk and you can purchase it direct from me signed by me and by Roger. To answer your question no, you will find that some pieces are not marked but there will be other defining characteristics to tell you exactly what it is, and you are welcome to contact me anytime for an assessment, with kind regards Julia
