Discuss, Buy and Trade Cardew Teapots with other collectors Cardew produce ceramic collectable teapots. Each teapot is designed by the company founder Paul Cardew. Cardew are based in Devon, UK and collectors are able to visit their teapottery which is based on an Alice in Wonderland theme. Paul Cardew's early work is becoming increasingly collectable with certain teapots such as The Cactus reaching high prices at auction and on the secondary market. The teapots feature fine detail and are great fun. The
Cardew Collectors' Club began in 1995. It offers members a number
of benefits which include for 2003 the 'Suzy Floosey' teapot as
the joining gift.Other benefits a copy of the Cardew Teapot Collection catalogue and copies of The Teapot Times, the club newspaper published three times a year. Members also receive a joining teapot, the opportunity to purchase members only teapots, and are also allowed to visit the Cardew pottery at Bovey Tracey. Members are asked to ring in advance if possible and they will also receive a free gift.
