: Since I have been trying to help here on this board, I have frequently used images published on Scotland's Glass (see URL below). The software version that the site uses is about to reach the end of it's support life. This means it has to be upgraded to a new version to keep it safe for all visitors.

: Because the site has grown so much - and has a lot of growing to do - the risk of corruption in such a major upgrade has resulted in the decision to have the upgrade done professionally. This is not a cheap option but the best way to ensure that it continues to provide the best information for visitors' interests.
