I have four millefiori & metal buttons and would like to know anything about these buttons. They are 16 millmetres in diameter. They have a central ring of 4 flowers and on the outer rim have four semi circles with what look like dragon flies. Each section is ringed with ropework. There are some initials on the back - my eyesightis not so good - but i think they are FAF or EAF. I don't know what the base metal is but it is coloured gold. they are not in great condition and I will not attempt to clean them but am curious about their origins as they were in among my late mother's effects and I have never seen them before. I wonder if they may have belonged to my Grandmother. Any feedback would be welcome.
