Thanks Steve, sorry you feel this way.
I wish I had seen this post on August 7th when you posted it, not many days later. Goodness knows what fellow Beswick collectors think of me now.

I am selling these horses on behalf of my friend who lives outside of the UK and does not want to sell herself via eBay. All four models have been in her family for a number of years.

They have never been repainted. I have seen a few horses with marked hooves like that over the years, so I do not see the problem with this.

As it states in the listings, any problems and they can be FULLY REFUNDED, no questions asked, there is no way I would 'play ball' with a person who was out to fleece people. The thought of it makes my stomach turn.

I have just sold two of the four horses and the payment from the buyers will sit in my Paypal account until the horses are received to them in the UK and they are 100% happy. Then I will pay my friend, less the eBay fees that I have incurred for her.

Also, regarding 'defrauding' the post man. I have been sending Beswick all over the world for years now and unless you pay a somewhat extortionate amount of money for insurance you have to mark them as very low value to get them posted at all with a signature. Surely most international Beswick buyers/ sellers are aware of this as the p+p with postage prices are very high indeed.

Buyers would be welcome to pay the massive amounts for postage with insurance if they wish, but they never want to. I am not stopping people asking for this method.
I addressed this on the listing as people kept emailing asking would it be marked cheaply to save them any extra cost.

I am quite upset about this comment Steve, as I have obviously made everything very clear in the listing. In all my years of selling Beswick I have been completely honest and have never mislead buyers/ sellers. I am not about to start tarnishing my happy trading life now.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask me on here.

*** Also, eBay emailed me about having listings being based outside of the UK, so I am going to ask my friend to send me the other 2 horses to me first, so they will be sent directly from me to avoid eBay being annoyed with me. I did not know this was not permitted, as selling on behalf of someone else is not something I have not done before. And eBay let the first two auctions run, so I did too.

If anyone has any queries about how I trade please don't hesitate to ask on here or email me directly; lara@beswickhorses.co.uk

These are the only 4 models (out of hundreds I handle annually) to be offered for sale on behalf of someone else. All other models are based with me, at my 'stables' in the UK.

Best, Lara
