: you bet there are well only a few really most are genuine but that few are hard core and they dont care who gets stung.
: on this board a certain dealer was named last year.he had sold this older couple thousands of pounds worth of top end beswick and as they were older they trusted him and parted with lots of cash.i think one took ill and they decided to sell everything and took it to a local auction.the auctioneer informed them that every piece had been done just like they had.
: that dealer is still online buying damaged beswick and others doulton etc(i have sold damaged beswick to him online)he then restores and sells under a different name.
: i think we all know who i mean and he is all it takes to drag all your prices down online so its upto you online dealers to clear him out but as previously said he has helped my shop trade no end.
