Rarely are NIB still mint after years (or even when brand new now)... and rarely do boxes make much a difference (especially for SMs, unless they are the 'mislabeled' Arabian/Morgan stallions.
ponylagoon is ok for values sometimes, but they can be off. Ebay is being boycotted so I'd suggest not bothering to even get prices on there. My Auction barn is new but maybe you can offer it on there.
Hands down though, Felicia Browell's book is best.
