Wrap in old t shirts, or any colorfast soft fabric. plastic bags don't provide enough breathing room. If you use bubble wrap, wrap loosely with bubbles out.
Don't use airtight boxes either... use cardboard. Put them on pallets if there's ever a chance of leakage or critters getting to where you store them.
