There are a lot of the oldies that look very similar and neither Pony Lagoon nor my Felicia Browell collector's guide mention that it came in a woodgrain color. The Breyer Western Horse has the mane on the left side of the neck. I believe that Hartland has the mane on the right side of the neck. There are a lot of copy-cat companies out there too though, so if yours is on the left side then it's possible that it's one of those. Here's a link to the Pony Lagoon page for the Western Horse: http://ponylagoon.muerte.net/molds/westernhorse.shtml Here's a link to the Hartland Collectibles page and there's a picture of their version of the Western Horse a little ways down the page: : I have 5 Breyer horses, three of which are old. One of the oldies is a Western Horse #57, in the woodgrain decorator color. I would like to get an idea of its value. It was my Aunt's toy in the late 50's, as far as I know. Any info is appreciated...
