![]() Do you remember the old Adam West and Burt Ward Batman series? How did they get up those buildings? (Okay, let’s be honest, they tilted the camera.) This is full sized to the screen used piece and works like them as well; with 2 bass hinges screwed into the center so that you can flip it open just like they did in the series. The paint used was the correct midnight blue automotive grade paint that is still available today. 2 different Batarangs were used during the series but they were the same make and model. One was the “throwing” version and the other was the “climbing” version. The only difference between the 2 was that the climbing model had a yellow rope attached. The version you will receive is the accurate throwing version with no rope attached. However, there is a quarter sized embossed circle on one of the wings so that you may drill it out and tie in your own yellow rope if you so desire to convert it into the climbing model (which we can do for an addition charge). This is a great costume piece as you can actually flip it open as Batman did on the series. This would be perfect as a costume piece or a display piece or even BETTER, have Adam West or Burt Ward sign this at your next convention to increase the value of your investment.
