Share a Smile Becky was sold at Toys R Us in 1997. The book Collector's Encyclopedia of Barbie Doll Exclusives, third edition, by J. Michael Augustyniak, copyright 2005, lists her value at $22.
If you're disappointed in the value, all of the 80s and 90s dolls have gone down in value. If you look through the first and second editions of the book, the prices are higher. The reason the prices are lower have nothing whatsoever to do with the economy. Barbie collecting hit its peak in the mid to late 1990s, and then people went on to other hobbies. So not as many are collecting Barbie dolls now. The prices started going down before the current economic situation.
