Cowabunga! Turtles friends Hot Spot and Scratch at Vectis

hotspot mutant ninja turtleTwo of the rarest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures Hot Spot and Scratch will be fighting their way into Vectis TV and Film auction on the 15th April. The models from the Playmates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1992-93 series included two of the range’s rarest figures – Hot Spot and Scratch.

scratch mutant ninja turtleBoth characters were allies of the Turtles (Hot Spot was a dog and Scratch was a you can probably guess a cat). They were secondary characters and towards the end of the series the manufacturers tended to concentrate on variations of the existing main characters. The line was waning in popularity and they were consequently under produced and pulled from later shipments – hence their scarcity.

Hot Spot is a mutant Dalmatian dog; he wears a firefighter badge and is an ally of the Mutant Ninja Turtles. Estimate £140-£200

Scratch is a mutant cat; wearing a prisoner suit, he is one of Shredder’s mutant allies. Estimate £50-£70
